Class 2 – What we spend and how we spend it.
All patients living in Wales registered with a general practitioner based in Wales are entitled to free prescriptions.
No charge is payable for drugs or appliances supplied on a WP10 prescription. Charges may be applicable to some patients presenting non-Welsh prescriptions for dispensing in Welsh pharmacies, however many patients presenting non-welsh prescriptions may be exempt from prescription charges if they fall into certain categories. Class 3 – What our priorities are and how we are doing
We aim to provide the highest standards of pharmaceutical service in the locality we serve. We endeavour to make our services available to all patients. We provide free home delivery services (non NHS service) to all patients that are unable to access the pharmacy. Our pharmacists and staff are fully trained in accordance with their roles and adhere to clear standard operating procedures. These procedures are designed to ensure the quality and safety of the services we provide.
Our pharmacy is routinely inspected by members of the General Pharmaceutical Council, Aneurin Bevan Health Board and the Community Health Council.
As a part of our NHS Pharmacy Contract we carry out: An annual practice audit and make improvements where necessary. An annual multi-disciplinary audit as required by Aneurin Bevan Health Board. An annual Patient Satisfaction Survey, results and outcomes of the surveys are held at our registered office.

NHS Funded services are provided free of charge to patients. Drugs and appliances dispensed on WP10 prescription forms are free of charge to patients. Drugs and appliances dispensed on non-welsh prescriptions carry a levy for some groups of patients. See notes above.
